“As a Head of Delegation of the European Commission in Croatia, it is my great pleasure to participate for the third time in this great sport programme. Such sport activities illustrate a good cooperation between Croatia and Slovenia which is fully supported by the Commission both financial and practical. Such activities in this region are of great importance connecting people through sport on both sides of the border who are working and acting together to organise sports or cultural events, but also to preserve environment, promote tourism and develop small and medium-size enterprises.
